Relay Races!

This is a workout I created for Baton Rouge Adventure Boot Camp, and it is designed for a group of 30 (but can feasibly be adjusted to suit any size group).

I. Walk/Jog: 5 min.


II. Warm-Up: “Chopper” Sequence, 30 sec work/15 sec rest x 3 rounds

A. Woodchops

B. Pivot Rotations

C. Diagonal Chops Lo R Hi L

D. Diagonal Chops Lo L Hi R

III. Static Stretching: 20 sec. ea.

A. Triangle Pose

B. Warrior

C. Quad

D. IT Band

IV. Walk/Jog: 5 min.


V. Relay Race #1: 3 teams, 10 min.

Setup:

O———————————->O  I    I    I    I    I —————–> Yoga Mat

*Start *Skip to cone *Hurdle Jumps *Run *Face team: 5 Mountain Climbers

(per leg; 10 total)

*Sprint back & slap hands!

*If you have an equal number of people on each team, have them count how many

times they completed the relay & compare results when finished!

VI. Walking Lunges: 2 min. around circle


VII. Walk/Jog: 5 min.


VIII. Picnic Table Pushups/Bench Dips: 30 sec ea x 2 rounds


IX. Relay Race #2: 3 teams, 10 min.
